🌬The Mitten Sequencing🌬

❄️I used the story “The Mitten” for a sequencing lesson. We had to take each step of the boys mitten being lost to a whole Forrest trying to stay warm inside of it. It was a picture analysis and writing piece that the students had to write in complete sentences after putting each step into the correct order. My materials for this project were The Mitten book, the pictures, red long construction paper, glue and scissors. I let the students work in pairs to help one another. They were amazed at how many animals could fit into the mitten before it exploded (their words, not mine)… with Each page I turned, the kids thought it was going to be the page the mitten finally burst! Too cute! I couldn’t help but giggle.❄️ Writing success in the books! πŸ“š
